Dude...you have horrible grammar.

Anyways regarding this, what grits of paper did you use? I find that its easiest to start with 40 which really gets the rough shape. Then step up to 120 which gets rid of most of the scratches. Then I step up to 240 or 320 and finally 400 for paint prep....And did you use fibreglass filler? Or did you just use bondo? Fibreglass filler really helps in smoothing out your panel better even though its a bitch to sand.

Thanks for the posts. I never would have thougth about other epoxys. My original plan was to go with standard roof and vent scoop install. line up, predrill, wet out with resin, pop rivit on wait to dry then glass smooth. Didn't know if there was going to be tom much flex back there with the wheel well being cut up. But if it isn't a structual seem it should be fine.

Does anyone know where i can get the picture strand from the link BASTARD posted.

Hook on phonics obviously didn't work for titaniumtt
let me break down my post a bit so maybe you can understand it

I have an uncle thats worked in a bodyshop for over 20 years(*****this is where i am telling you who had said this to me****) and had suggested (****this is where he was telling me what he thought would work best******)that to me (****meaning somone with 20 years experience said this to me*****)when i was goin to replace the rear quarter panels on my GX (*****which would obviously be the same process as putting widebody fenders on****)

i hope this clears things up alittle bit for you titaniumtt i know how you can struggle with all them thar big words

by the time i get through dealing with all the tards here i should have a pretty high post count

So let me get this strait? You ask which is the #1 rotor and then pick a fight - you know what.... I'm not going to waste my time with a little hypocritical peon such as yourself. Did you ask your uncle specifically this question before you posted? You said glue now epoxy.. wtf? Are you sniffing the glue? Nevermind - You think I have reading comp. problems when I am sure there are primates who can be taught to use grammar better. Out of a hundred million sperm.... joo are the winnar!!! I'm at a loss for words. You made an incomprehensible post and you continue to add nothing to this thread. I'm done with you - go away, try to find the forth cylinder on your rotary.

EDIT - YOU SAID GLUE IT ON!!!!! GLUE IT ON, CALL IT A DAY = WRONG!!!!

here's alittle more clarification for you titaniumtt....see at the beginnin of the post where i said "theres some kind of glue the bodyshops use" i know the use of the word glue just totally confused you and you often get the meaning confused with food ....but i figured the guy would have enough common sense to ask someone at a body shop for the actual adhesive they use not just go by some aylmers school glue and go to town....not everyone needs everything broken down to the simplest form to understand it...its a day later and your still struggling with my first post

How have you not fallen victim to evolution? It's ELMERS school glue. You should know it well, based on your repeated failed attempts at grammar

Look pal, you said glue, just glue it on and use that stuff to blend it in. I'm sorry your little e-ego got a little butt-hurt but you are wrong. You continue to be wrong. You've only detracted from a decent thread by constantly posting bad info and doing it in a way that exemplifies failed gade school level grammar. Seriously stop posting, I'm through wasting my time and braincells on you & you're only digging your own grave.

If I ever actually met you, I think I would have a heart attack from laughing at you sooooooo hard. You are the walking definition of hypocrisy, sub-standard intelligence, stubborn, and just plain USELESS! You were wrong plain and simple let you keep coming back calling me "dumb" when you don't have the education to compose one literate sentence. I’m going to point and laugh @ you now. Take notes, education at your expense.

You don't start sentences with "and" I didn't say use the stuff to blend it in ...I said blend it in because the guy is going to try to put a WB kit on his car, I would hope he knew what to use.
(He didn't know what to use. That was the reason for his post. You told him glue. End of story. Glue does not a wide body installation make. Face it, you were wrong; end of story)

Thanks for the spell check, now you can say you've actually contributed something to this webpage.

saying "some type of glue the bodyshops use" VERY VERY WRONG!
saying "proper adhesive" that is totally correct you can't get much more clear than that

AAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAA

Keep digging fool, keep on digging. I'm just going to keep coming here for some laughs. Allow me to stoke the fire.....

If I told you what I bill my clients /hour you wouldn't believe me nor would most. However, based on the figure that you provided, without OT you'd make ~$48,000/yr which is respectable. However, I know a secretary in my office who makes more than you. You fail, just utter failure. Maybe if you learned something in school you'd make more than a seretary. They need those skills which you lack Such as the ability to click the spell check button, or the come on.... no no.... Yeah that's it.... COMMON sense to compose a literate sentence.

I bet he's back tomorrow too

Sorry TitaniumTT, but imo, you're the one that looks bad here.

He said the exact samething as you did.

glue=adhesive. Only your tigh *** has to break it down to specifics...Any normal person knows what he ment.

And bringing back the #1 rotor thing is just a female reaction also. It has nothing to do with bodywork. And when you bought your 7 you knew everything about it right away or you asked Qs? I had to ask. Adn you knwo what, I'm glad I did, because know, I can rebuild engines and do whatever I want to a 7. You gotta start somewhere.

Oh and please spell-check me, because I am not a native english speaker and we all know how important that is when talking about car problems.

Now get over yourself, you sound like a 16 year old that would put a TII hood on an N/A just to look cool.

Seriously.

Seriously.
Nah, when I bought my FC 11 years ago I didn't know the forum existed. But I did know the FSM did. So you're saying you feel completely comfortable taking all the paint off your car and spraying an entire paint job complete with body work? Cuuuuz I can

He said GLUE IT ON!!!!!!!!! That's all he said. Glue it on and use that stuff to blend it in. He never mentioned prep work, finish work, nothing like that. Then he goes to rag on me personally as well as my FC when neither of you know anything about my project. I am getting old becuase I HATE kids.
I'll be MORE than happy to park my car next to yours or his and let people **** on the one they like least. This coming from a guy who spent 2 years painting his own car too sooooooooooo

Neither of you know what's gone into or is going into my pj so why even bother making assumptions. I'll tell you what though, a TII hood on my car wouldn't jive with the VMIC so I'm going to reverse vent the hood. I'm going to build my own vents, maybe out of AL, maybe 'glass. Regardless I won't just "glue" them on

Get over yourself. You're not the defender of all that are lame. You are a little internet ninny who feels compeled to make himself feel better by attempting to stick up for other people.

How's that bucket Phoenix? Ricky lake sized should last a few good pages.

Same here, 11 years, but I dont mind helping people insted of pounding them down.

He said GLUE IT ON!!!!!!!!! That's all he said. Glue it on and use that stuff to blend it in. He never mentioned prep work, finish work, nothing like that. .
"theres some kind of glue the bodyshops use" Thats what he said. And the guy that asked the question has experience with body work. I am sure that telling him not to glue it directly on the paint directly wasn't mandatory.

I'll be MORE than happy to park my car next to yours or his and let people **** on the one they like least. This coming from a guy who spent 2 years painting his own car too sooooooooooo
.
Stop assuming so fast, or you could be spending your saturday drying and cleaning **** from your perfect paint job.

Here you go coming all female again...What does that have to do with anything? The TII hood was a figure of speech, an example. And you still sound like a bragging 16 year old.

Get over yourself. You're not the defender of all that are lame. You are a little internet ninny who feels compeled to make himself feel better by attempting to stick up for other people.
Thats actually quite funny coming from TEH internet bully that has to **** on peoples head to make himself feel better. Fact is, I dont care about FCDrift or whatever, I care that people like you make this site irritating and if I was a mod you would be banned. This is an RX7 community, its made for poeple to helop eachother out, or pointing their wrong in a non-offensive or aggressive manner.

How's that bucket Phoenix? Ricky lake sized should last a few good pages.
This is such an obvious give away of your need for popularity while bashing on others. That makes you seem weak. You should stop that. And excessive smiley use gives it away too...

Dont get me wrong, you might know a whole lot, maybe even more than I do, I dont care, but there are ways to teach poeple without your smart-*** 16 year old attitude.
