Why wont my car rev past 3800? (not hesitation)

Ok, so I recently finished my Turbo/NA project and was fairly sure that everything had gone as planned. The car fired right up and idled smoothly..so far, so good. I shut it down and left for the night. I went back two days later, and again, it fired up and idled fine, so i proceded to start leaning it out at idle to compensate for the 550's that were installed. Here's where the trouble started. Any attempt to lean it out caused the car to die, but at 0%, it ran fine (this is on a SAFC-II btw). It smells rich too, so i dont understand how leaning it out could make the car die. So anyway, I left the AFC alone, and decided to take the car on a test drive. As I pulled out of the driveway and started going down the road, the car wouldn't rev past 3800 or so. It's like it chokes, It just sputters and refuses to go any higher. Also, My boost guage gets to about 0 vac as if the turbo were trying to spool, but couldn't make any boost. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I feel like a complete *** after getting so hyped up about my car being done, and now it runs like crap .
BTW-> I have an AFR guage, but it isn't hooked up yet, so im not sure about the afr as of now.
Forgot to list mods:
4x550's (used) <- could be the problem???
255lph fuel pump
ihi turbo
custom exhaust manifold
tial 38mm wastegate
safc-II

I installed a AFC2 on my s14, and about 2 months later my car wouldnt rev past 3600-3800 rpms. hooked it up to a scanner at school, it was throwing a maf code, replaced the maf, same problem. sold the car, but the guy who got it, got it running, now afc-less...

Will it free rev past 3800?

This *screams* secondary injector problem to me. Either bad injectors, or not getting power, or... *something* that is making the secondaries not inject fuel.

Do you know for sure all 4 injectors work?

Could be a pump but definetely sounds to be like secondary injectors.

I cant be sure they all work. The guy i bought them from claimed they worked when he pulled them from the car. I could try switching them with the primaries and see if that does anything, but how would that affect the leaning out of the idle?

It sound like the SAFC is set up wrong. I'd remove it and go for a drive to see if there's a difference.

It's assumed that you don't have your lead and trail plug wires crossed and the lead coil is working.

check the injector grounds and all other grounds in the engine bay. I had the same problem when I bought my t2. I redid the grounds and added a few and it's worked great.

I recently changed the fuel filter, but the more I read about the grounds, the more it seems likely. I'm heading out to my garage tomorrow about 3 to start hacking at it. Thanks the the input guys

Swap the fuel injector connectors like this.

Swap the prim plugs to the secondary and the secondary to the primary plugs.

Tell us what happens.

you might also want to check your egi, moine went bad and i couldn't get it to rv past about 3400 rpms, but if egi is fine def something to do with secondariesbut even with out secondaries you should be able to slowly rev it higher i know on mune my secondary connectors got knocked off or i just forgot to put them back on when i was working on it but it hesitated but still revved all the way up to 7000 rpms, not pretty but it did it,

it could also be your secondary air injection system malfunctioning

I'm Def. gonna check the grounds and secondary connectors, but anyone have a clue as to why the safc would make the car **** out when i tried to lean it at idle??? I know that older NA FC's had purple topped injectors, but mine plugged right into my S5 harness. Dirty primaries perhaps??
