Why won't this car run?

The car had flooded out & it wouldn't start...
I checked the oil & it did smell like gas, so I changed the plugs and tried to start it, it fired for about 2-3 seconds before flooding again...I was going to change the oil, so I drained the oil, then I
couldn't get off the oil filter.

What do you guys think is wrong with this car? Someone is selling it by me and this is what he says about it. I can probably have him look at some things if they don't rquire much work.

Take out the injector fuse under the hood. Crank for 10 seconds.. Let the starter rest. Put fuse back in, and try cranking again

Well the car is $450, has pretty much every option except auto tranny, and has a bunch of new parts, so I think I'll buy it.

new injectors will cost you around 2-400 dollars depending on where you buy them. DO NOT get bigger ones. you don't nor will you need them unless you have MAJOR mods. 460cc all around.

As far as the oil filter coming off, you may need an oil filter wrench. I don't know how beef-cake you are, but if you can't turn it by hand, try a filter wrench of some kind to get more leverage into it.

well if you do decide to get them cleaned check out www.rceng.com

For the oil filter try using a rubber dishwashing glove those give you much more grip. Try that before buying a oil filter wrench if you dont feel like wasting money. And when you put the new oil filter on just hand tighten it.

Cruzin performance does injector cleaning for very cheap.

And I disagree with the whole new/cleaned injector debate. All the injectors I have had services all flowed as good as a new pair. So why waste the money?

We can never be positive of the problem. We aren't there to see in PERSON. you have to decide for yourself not only on our oppinions and suggestions.
