Exclamation WHy is oil leaking onto my leg while i drive???

My omp is going bad. Because after I run the car for a while. Particularly when I drive on the highway for a while. The car bogs at WOT from 3,000rpm up. But after I start driving i feel drops of oil leaking onto my leg??? any idea where whis is coming from. I looked under there. And cleaned some oil off. Idk where it is coming from. Also my tranny tonight feels like its hard to shift. not smooth in shifts from 1 -2 and 2- 3 it feels catchy. Kind of like it needs to be lubricated. Any ideas?
thanks in advance

Not sure but I think that is tranny fluid (?) creeping up the speedo cable. Search, because I know it's been discussed. One way or another, you definitely have some kind of problem with leaks. Good luck

i had that prob, your tranny fluid is going up the speedo cable, the little gear thing on the side of the tranny where the speedo cable goes into, the seal is bad

its easy enough to pop that gear out, just jack up the back of the car (causes the oil to go to the front of the transmission, pull the 10mm bolt and yank the unit out of there. Local autoparts store should have an oring to fit.

let me get this straight, you used engine oil in the transmission??
well i guess you COULD do that, but it's not recommended...

anyways, pick up some actual gear oil, the full synthetic stuff.

a good one is Redline MT-90.
