i replaced my omp lines and put it all back together and now it runs terribly lean. its not idling high, but i have to set my safc at +25ish percent to maintain an idle of 1000 rpms, any lower and it dies. the motor also is running very rough, decent amount of shaking and that "cough" idle.

if i rev the motor the gauge stays lean, and after i let off the gas it bounes up for a second then buried its self in lean again

btw it never had this problem before.

maybe you accidentally unplugged an injector when you replaced the omp lines? or slipped the vacuum hose off the FPR? or some other sensor might be unplugged too...

Sounds like you have a vaccume leak somewhere. The engine is sucking in air that has not gone through the MAF; not enough air to make it idle high but enough to cause issues. Start by checking all the vaccume lines you had off while you were working on the OMP. If you have to take the UIM back off again also remember to check the big rubber gourments at the bottom of the injectors.

hey, most people's metal clips are gone and they just slide off... it could happen when putting the UIM back on. I've done that with the coolant temp sensor...

My car can run without the leading coils plugged in

but yeah... now that you mention it, a vacuum leak would explain it nicely and probably more likely...
