why are my gears so long?

ok... now, what would happen if i just ran my pressure hoses from the airpump to the 5th and 6th port actuators bypassing the solenoid? (the solenoid is dead)

would they still open at that rpm?

No, they'd be open all the time. If the solenoid is dead, either wire them open or replace the solenoid.

damn. but i thought the airpump didnt put out enough pressure to open the actuators til like 3krpms or so. have i been living a lie?

i guess i'll just have to wire them open til i get a damn new solenoid.

hey jacob...... Mine would pull like **** through those gears... i mean i had nothing at all.. it seemed like no power after 5,500. get strait pipes and intake... it fixes everything... now mine pulls evenly through all gears....still does 110 in 3rd but ehhh

they will come on at about 2300. remove the solenoid for the egr and cap it off and use it as a replacement.

Ah, that's true. Although it doesn't take much pressure for those things to come open, about 1.5 psi.

Ha ha, yeah I am about that.

Actually, I will get an LSD rear, maybe a GTUs one if I ever get lucky. You can keep your big brakes and five lug hubs, I don't want them.

Post your 1/4 slips when you get that thing to the track, I would like to see. My beast is kind of apart at this writing so I need some motivation.
