Because people with FD's actually put up the cash and buy stuff so the companies do not have to make up their costs with high prices. They sell more units so the cost is spread over a larger amount of buyers. FC owners are largely deadbeats and poor 15 year olds that can not buy anything because they are broke.

well i believe that there are more fd's than fc turbos just from my driving experience, i rarly see tii's. or atleast there are more fd's than tII's left on the road. but you are right, it pisses me off too. as for na's i dont get why parts are so expensive. just how it is right now. i suppose the fd is easier to work on and make parts for as it is a more modern car. im thinking that 2nd gens are fairly rare these days so there is not much demand for aftermarket parts except for people on this forum.

Ive always been under the impression FC parts are cheaper. Check the price of motor mounts for instance.

If most fc owners are poor, then why make expensive parts.

I agree with the deadbeat part. Hell, I am 19 and make 28k a year, but I can't afford a car part. Ha! Go figure.

FD motor mounts are integrated into the oil pan. More expensive to reproduce.

Which is one of the reasons why I considered parts more expensive for the FD.

We also have less parts

CF
spoilers
interior parts
turbo manifolds/kits
etc, etc

I agree 100 % with FC owners being cheap
and hence the lack of products/expense

everytime some one comes out with something
it is always "I can make it cheaper" why did you not make it then before?

or can you do a GB
I have to wait a few weeks to pay
or damm I wish I did not spend $ on this thing I bought
now I have no more money for what you are offering etc
