If the switches really are Mom. On, for pins 3 and 6 (which is not what the diagram shows), then:

Pin 1 and 6 to ground.

Pins 3 and 4 to ignition 12 volts

Pins 2B and 5B to the driver's door motor (or passengers door switch/motor if you are wiring the passengers side of the drivers switch).

If you're having a lot of trouble pulling the switch from the passenger side to check the wiring could be somewhat helpful. Especially with the coloring of the wires. I havent' done this myself so I can't really help you.
Note to self: always leave the original part in before replacing so it's an easy swap.

thanks, but i got it all figured out. since it needs to switch polarity its quite simple. this is the same thing icemark said pretty much, but all spread out with details.

The motor + and - go in the middle onto 2B and 5B, then you need 2 powers, and 2 grounds. Take the 1 ground wire (solid black) and splice it, so it changes from 1 end into 2 ends. Do the same with the power wires (black with red stripe *drivers side*), and (black with blue stripe *pass. side*). Now you have 2 powers and 2 grounds. Now you take 1 ground and put it on pin 1, and you take 1 power and put it on pin 4, then the other side on pins 3 and 6, you do it the opposite of 1 and 4. so power on 3 and ground on 6.

1(ground)______4(power)

2B(motor +)____5B(motor -)

3(power)______6(ground)

so if anyone would like to do this, its pretty simple, and heres the part numbers...

http://www.newark.com/

#1 is just the switch itself, #2 is the little thing you pu ton top of the switch to make it work, they sell them seperate.

1. NEWARK INONE PART #: 16F8148 ; Rocker Switch, New Generation, Non-Illuminated, (On)-Off-(On) Action

2. NEWARK INONE PART #: 25C1398 ; NEW GENERATION ROCKER. THE "D" DESIGNATES, NO ICON REQUIRED.

Rather than starting a new thread.....how would I go about running the batter directly to the regulator to test it?
Basically I've installed a the window regulator(when I bought the car it didn't have a driver side window regulator), the window goes down but not up. Just recieved a replacement power switch...window goes down but not up. I know the regulator is good because it works on the passenger side just by hooking it up. I guess it's either going to be that the wires are faulty or the connection is fried/faulty. Any ideas?
