Someones when i start my car, which by the way is a mission if i havent started it in a day or so.
but once it fires up, it idles like a 68 z28 with cams.
it kinda almost idles like i have a busted seal, but if i gice it ALITTLE gas, for about 5-10 seconds, it will smooth out eventually.

anyone have this occur? i just think its strange.

 

my car sounds like a hot rod. but i think i blew my seal today. sux
thats why it sounds like a hotrod. half of my compression is gone. get your engine checked out just to be on the safe side.

yeah but the weird thing is it smooths out and its fine after. its just for about 10 seconds after i start it one in a while.

i blew a seal on another motor i had, it was running at 19 psi, and i deffinally knew it was blown. that sucked.

im heading over to t/r racing soon anyone for a guage install and a exhaust welding, ill get a comp test anyway just to be safe.

Perhaps you are using an improper weight of oil for the temperature in your area and the motor is running dry for that first few minutes?

 

my car sounds kinda like its got a lobe in it when i start it up
this is after i took the cats out and streetported it
when it warms up it kinda settles down a little
i think it might be something to do w/ more overlap of intake and exhaust ports
