Ok and what information did you contribute to helping this person with his problem of why a leaky exhaust causes a loss of power?? nothing. not one response from you that contributed Jack ****! Your only response besides telling me to **** off was to ask the question What!? Probably because you did not have a clue as to what is going on.

You tell me to keep things to myself yet you don't follow your own advice by telling me to **** off...what a hipocrit.

I do have lots of knowledge but I don't want to share is with a small mined smartass like yourself....someone who discraces the RX-7.... However I did share it in this thread by letting everyone know that the information posted there answered the original question. If you didn't like that then you should keep it to yourself....according to your own advice that is. So you can take your 700 posts of hollow information and act like a man on the other side of the computer screen if you want but time will tell who is the greater of us.

Perhaps you should re-read the posts.
Even if I didn't offer him, help, I didn't shoot him down.
I am aware of the HYPOCRISY of using this thread to tell you to keep it to yourself. However, I felt it was tolerable seeing as my thread was an aid to the poster, and yours was simply derogatory.
Speaking of HYPOCRISY, how can you flame me for not offering advice when you yourself offered none.
I'm sorry if you think I discrace [sic] the RX-7, but I have been helpful to many people on here. If there are those who disagree, they will speak up.
I do not see how offering aid to a person in anyway is a discrace [sic] to the RX-7. I represent the TII very well in my area, thank-you.
Facts are facts. I have 700 posts with almost all of them being helpful to others. If you think this is bad, by all means continue, but I think the manner of which you have presented more than prepresents your poor character.
If you have so much knowledge to share with us small-mined persons, you're sure letting it shine through.

PLAIN AND SIMPLY: YOU ARE WRONG HERE. YOU MADE A COMMENT OF WHICH WAS NOTHING BUT DEROGATORY FOR SOMEONE SIMPLY ASKING FOR HELP. .

Anyone care to support either myself or him? speak up. I'd appreciate it.

Do you wanna compare FC3S knowledge?? I fear you would lose.
In this forum you will get a lot more kudos for actually helping people than just for knowing heaps. You might know ten times as much as Sean for all we know, but he's helped hundred times more people here than you have, so going off like you've done is going to annoy a few people, including me.
Perhaps he over-reacted, but a forum is like any social group; you don't just walk in the door and start bad-mouthing a bunch of strangers, no matter how much you know. I hope you know as much about FC's as you imply; you'll be a good addition to the knowledge base. Just tone down the attitude and try to practice a little diplomacy.
Now everybody go and play nice. That includes you, Sean...

Thanks for the kinds words NZ.
As for playing nice, I have been trying to keep it civil. You'll note that I have been careful not to flame the poster as according to forum rules, whereas you'll note I have been called a "small mined [sic] smartass", "someone who discraces [sic] the RX-7", etc. I simply disagreed with his actions and questioned his intentions and character behind it, and told him to take it elsewhere.

Ya know... this whole damn forum is going to ****.

I suppose when you have a few hundred's people's opinions, you are BOUND to get some friction!

I think a lot of the people here shoot more flames than their cars do!!!!

I'm sorry Ranzo, look- I know there are some younger kids on here without tons of knowledge, but people learn! Thats what this forum is all about!! Were you born with 7 knowledge? You learned too! I know you were just supporting my post and trying to cut through some tech B.S. (that always comes up), and that just inflated my ego a whole lot as usual, but come on!!! That first comment about everyone "babbling on" was REALLY damn harsh! It wouldn't have taken too much more though to put that a little more politely, but then again... I guess a little more thought.....

Oh ya, and I'm putting a V8 in my 7!! So there!! (yaright)

OK everyone: Look, we all know who the idiots are- we've all seen them post- and we all know their screen names (and I guess new ones keep popping up) Most of us find it easier to just ignore their ignorance and continue providing help, and having good tech discussions. Even if someone has a really dumb idea about freakin blue windsheild washer jets or something totally gay (In my opinion) like that, people shouldn't jump on them, like everyone immediately does. Just discuss how to wire those damn homo things, and keep your opinions a little more restrained. (Unlike what I just did of course! )

It's good enough to know who the ****-flinging monkeys are, and laugh at them in private- rather than to JOIN THEM... most of us are bigger than that!! (Look at the size of my wankel!)

I'm not a moderator, and it's a good thing, because I'd be "ban happy". Let's just chill and lay off each other for a while!

Cheers to everyone.

yes i agree, the first post i made in the forum were flames, and now i regret posting them. This forum is here to educate and share ideas. Not to **** on each other.

without this forum i would know nothing about rx-7's, in fact i still don't know anything. I come here to learn, and to hopefully pass the things i have learned onto other people. If your going to post something, don't post flames, it is pointless and justs gets what could be educational threads thrown away.

Serioously what is the point of shooting flames anyway, you not going to gain anything from it, except for enemies... it is pointless.

I'm the past year and a half I haven't learned much at all from the forum. I have gained much guidance from the forum but ultimately I learned what I know by rolling my sleeves up and getting dirty. As always, big thanks to Ted and those like him. Excellent source for guidance. I don't place much stock in what I read, but what I do. I've read a lot of off the wall stuff. There are guys that I work with that have MCSE's and think they know a lot, but without practical experience in the real world getting down and dirty with real issues it's hard to respect that. The number of posts one has is meaningless. Of the over 13k registered people of this forum, how many people actually know what other people know and are experienced with? I find it hard to fathom that a seasoned forum member is so easily upset by a newbie. We all write things that are misread by others, be it in context or not. It's just best to let stuff slide. In a day or two the only way to find a post is the search button.

I am glad someone is finally saying this. I used to flame all the time, then when I could not take falming back, I got pissy. Not very mature of me. We all have different ideas, experiences, and advice to share. Sean, you are my bro, so I will ALWAYS back you, but we all need to just cool off. That is what is so cool about this forum, espically the 2nd gen side of it. We all (for the most part) do our own wrench turning. If we had the $$$ to afford a mechanic, we could afford FDs. We need to help each other grow in our understanding of the problems and fixes of the rotary engine. I appreciate ALL of your feedback to my question, and I hope that I can return a favor to all of you in the near future!!! Much love!!!

Speaking of wrenching, how did it go today?

No chance to try to fix it. Court went well. $60 for defensive driving, and $50 a month till December for the no insurance ticket. Looks like n20 is in my near future!!!!

Cool, glad to hear it. What kit where you going with?
I have to pick up the parts for my direct port nitrous injection system sometime next week (parts are an hour 15 min away). Just glad I have 400Lph of fuel all the time, and 472.5Lph of fuel at full boost.
I don't think I'll detonate with the proper jetting, but I'm still being careful.
