I installed my HKS FCON and HKS FCD. It seems to work, I get no fuel cut, the F-con turns on too, because I can see the green light on the front. The engine check stays on. Now I believe I installed the FCD the right way. white going away from ecu, yellow going towards ecu. Check out the pic. http://www.geocities.com/azn_gamer_thug/fcdinstall.bmp

Also, if my turbo starts to smoke what is it? Turbo smokes a little, its more like heat smoke. I was told it is running lean. But I installed the HKS F-con, so shouldnt it be ok. Unless I am getting major boost creep.

So I have tried it both ways, but I stil lget engine check. What if I put the stock boost sensor in and plug up the stock boost sensor, will that effect anything?

What do you mean?? What are you using in place of the stock boost sensor right now?? Why would you plug the stock boost sensor? Odd.

The HKS F-Con comes with its own boost pressure sensor, But when I take off the stock boost sensor, I get engine check. And when I said plug, I meant the area where the vacuum hose goes into it. Am I supposed to keep the Stock Boost Pressure sensor on there? I remember that I am not supposed to back then in a thread I was reading on.

of course you are suppose to keep the stock pressure sensor.....
the FCD goes to the stock boost sensor.......
F-CON's pressure sensor is for itself only...

where did you get the idea to take off your pressure sensor

i hope you didnt get in boost for too long like that....
