Why buy a 2nd gen?
I'm trying to convince this guy he needs to buy an '86 FC for $250. It is his next door neighbor's and the neighbor is going to let the local yard have it if this guy doesn't buy it. It only needs an engine and master cylinder supposedly. Of course he posted on a Neon forum asking if he should buy it and y'all know what they'll say. Here is the link!

If I were closer, I'd buy it and drop a Turbo II in it

"let it go to the wrecker, those 1.1 motors, teamed with know electircal problems... just let it die...."
WTF? These guys are retard. Driving their wrong wheel drive Neons.
If he knows nothing about 7's let it go.

Why go 2nd gen.
I say go Rx-7 if you have a passion for it. Not to be fast and furious, not to look cool, and not to beat your friends dyno queen. You gave to really appericate the rotary or it will be the death of you. If he wants to put 2000 ~ 3000 grand to get her running again do it. Hell buy it and part it out and save up for a running one.
