What would cause this

After droping my tranny and putting it back on...due to 2 shift forks getting jamed in together

A)my clutch grabs at half way, compared to right at bottom

B)it slips when i accelerate fast, not when i drive normally

on a less serious note...
A)she no longer revs up to 3 thousand at startup....which may be causing her to dropped down the 0 and stall (half the time she does this), making me have to rev her up myself..

B) the oil pressure gauge on the cluster is not be working

The oil pressure sending unit is just under the oil filter pedistal. Check that the wire didn't come loose.

Well I can only help you with the oil guage. The wire that goes to the sender if probably disconected or has become dirty. Look below the oil filter it is a mushroom looking thing with a wire that us supposed to be attatched.

Ok, for the clutch, if it slips, then its either wet, or wearing out. For the clutch to engage when the pedal is halfway depressed, this may or may not be a problem. As long as the clutch completely disengages when you press the pedal, its all good. If you press the clutch pedal down and have problems shifting gears, or you can still speed up while holding the clutch down, you will need to check the tranny and engine alignment because its possible the pilot bearing is damaged. Did you take the clutch out at all when the tranny was out? If so, did you properly align it when you put it back in?

im thinking that there might be grease on the clutch. I did not take the clutch out. it deffinately completely disengaes when i press the pedal. tommorow me and my buddy will be bleading the clutch and adjusting any freeplay... i hope the clutch is not wearing out, it wouldn't make any sence , she was hooking up so good b4 i dropped the tranny, if she is worn would that cause it to hook up half way

sounds like you might have gotten oil or grease on the clutch.

i bled the clutch and tried adjusting any free play (free play still seems to be there). However, im still having clutch problems.. some one here has to have some idea why the clutch would slip, or whats causing the clutch to grab half way
