depends how bad it is. any paint missing? any rust? just a slight dent?

The best way would be to hammer it out using like a rubber mallet or some ****, something soft. Take out that carpeting in the trunk, im sure theres a way to get underneath the dent on that area of the car.

pics would be great instead of this vague useless assed post.

This MIGHT help depending on the dent.

I have seen this thing actually work and pop dents right out of cars before, seen it firsthand, I was impressed. I cant remember the brand but w/e its the same tool and they really do work.

Looks really effective. A shitload better than using a rubber hammer and rippin **** apart to get at the dent from behind.

The dent king is useless and leaves glue on your car. I would not recommend it to anyone. if you cant pop it out with a plunger, the dent king will just make it worse.

here what body shops use

spot weld pins w/dent hamer kit

http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...7&storeId=6970

plain dent hammers are 10% of the price of the spot weld kit 19.99-29.99 but require you to drill a hole where the dent is.
example

Actually the Dent King is great if you know how to use it. It will pull 90% of door ding type dents without any problems.

I agree. I've used it with great success for small dents. There are a lot of mobile dent removal companies that rely on that product and a suction cup for all of their work.

I just got an 87 TII. Body is in perfect shape, EXCEPT for a friggin dent right on the back where you described...
Maybe I should try Ding King, or maybe just try using a plunger...

how much would a shop charge for removing something like that?

haha I have had some like this. The metal is very hard back there. Go from the inside and start to beat it out with a hammer. You might want to use the backside of a blunt object and hit with a dead blow metal hammer to pull the crease or lower portion out. After that switch to a bump hammer and a dolly, start to bea the metal back into shape. Remember first in last out. Then smooth with body filler.

You can also use a stud puller or a puller with a plate you have to drill a hole for the plated puller.

Yup that tool is God. Takes a lot of time to learn how to use properly. I think I have enough information in my blog to teach anyone who dosent know.

Go to walmart, and buy some dry ice. Use gloves! Plug in a hair dryer, and hold the dry ice up to the dent until it pops out, assuming it isn't too bad. I saw a write-up on this somewhere's on the forums...I'd read it before you take my advice. LOL

i had a dent in that same exact place, i took out the tail lights taped off the area sanded it all down and filled it with bondo, i had no prior body experience and to fix it perfectly in just a couple hours, i even filled the holes for 4 holes for the emblem. sanded it all perfect, primed it and shot it with some paint.

You could ding up the rest of the car with the bottom of a baseball bat for that 'Golfballed' look.
