Greatest thread ressurection ever! It's a wierd feeling seeing my post from 10 years ago. I have never had a FC that the low fuel light didn't work on.

Never seen a working fuel level light in an fc. Door lights are pretty worthless.

my TII's fuel level light went out a few years back. since then i have resoldered the cluster again, replaced the fuel level assemblies and swapped the bulb. still does not work, if that gives you any idea.

it used to work just fine.

haven't cared enough to go further than that.

Never knew I had one in my 88 vert. Mind you I don't trust the fuel gauge so I keep it topped up all the time

My gauge sucks, so I ran it down (carrying gas can) to see if it still worked. I rarely ever let it fall past 1/4 of a tank anyway.

I figure most of yous ain't runnin' the gas low enough...if you aren't putting in 14-15 gallons on a fillup, you don't know if it works or not.

I didn't think mine worked, but maybe I've just not let it go low enough. Where is it on the gauge when it starts to come on?
