Dude, could you even imagine someone that dumb?

My car had a tranny leak, but I fixed that they day I got it. It also had an oil leak, but I had a new motor put in. Brake fluid leaked too, so out came the ABS. Coolant leaked until I replaced a hose. A/C musta leaked, as it had no charge. Exhaust leaked until I spot welded a hole.

Vacuum leak first time I tired to start it after the install, too.

So, only things that were ok were the diff, the p/s, and the body of the car. (Sunroof leaked on one of my RX-7's).

Now the car is perfect.

'89TII-The only leak I've encountered (156,000) is the thermostat "o" ring. Had to replace 2 of them. Seeped water when engine cold. No oil leaks, never any oil added between changes.
The only thing that leaks now are the apex seals....At KD for a new engine.

Something oozes oil, the bottom of the oilpan always has a coating of dried up gooey oil on it. My oil cooler lines used to leak like a bastard too until I got new SS ones. Also I went through two leaky ABS boxes until I had the ABS removed. All this is on a 90 T2

Who Ironic Aaron? It was just last week I posted the thread on the Purge Valve https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=100379 and now here you are dealing with It! Good Luck.

Ohh and I have dealed with every leak Imaginable on mine too. If I had known what I know now, I would have spent an afternoon replacing all the gaskets myself just to avoid having one leak one week after another. It was frustrating and expensive.

Had my car for 4 months. Not a single drop. I run 15W/40. 167K miles on a TII chasis with 30K on the rebuild. It burns a little oil but never, NEVER a single drop on my driveway!!!

Good luck

That's because the cars burn oil by injecting it into the combustion chamber, so you will go through oil between changes. Check it when you get gas is the best way to monitor it.

My 91 vert is mostly original, and it hasn't leaked a drop of anything...ever

Even w/ 101k on the clock, no leaks or drips. Guess I am lucky to have such a reliable engine....Oh wait. I almost forgot that it popped

I had an oil leak twice...first was the gasket at the oil filter and second was the dreaded oil cooler lines. The first was an easy fix, the second forced me to get some sweet braided lines fabricated. It's been about three years since and although I'm on motor # 2 more leaks and she's as clean as a whistle underneath (knock on wood).

Mine leaked oil when I put it back together.

Apparently the oil cooler lines have to be tight...and you cant forget any crush washers...no sir!

I thought I had put all the crush washers on. Then when we were putting the exhaust on, we (and by we I mean Bryan) noticed it was missing one!

I guess after having to spend 2 hours tapping out a temp sender that someone snapped off in my block, I was in a bit of a hurry.

Mine leaks onto my driveway from a little behind the front wheels toward the driver's side. I haven't checked to see exactly what it is yet. Any ideas?

my TII leaks from the drian plugs, and my gxl leaks from the oil sensor thingy it needs to be replaecd, ya its an easy fix but its too damn cold. And just as Aaron put it i bet itll just start leaking then after from some other place

I've had every leak imaginable that concerns oil, but fixed all of them, one at a time: OMP, oilpan, oilcooler line, oil passage/front plate to turbo.

Start the car up sometimes and let it idle in the driveway for 30 min.... Not a drop. Enginebay and undercarriage is completely clean/rid of ALL leaks at the current moment on both RX's.
