Who would buy an aluminum ram air scoop???

Yeah i know that everyone is thinking this is gonna be another one of those threads dedicated to homemade performance mods that never get made...

i am not tellin everyone that i am gonna make these, i am just asking who would buy one if i did decide to produce them. i could make them fairly quickly and easily and high quality.

here is what they would be if i decide to make them

shape/style:
1) basic design of the new mustang hood scoops but smaller w/ optional fins coming out the center
2) rounded scoop angled backwards
3) pontiac "ram air" style

4)custom designs would be slightly more expensive

color:
1)any color you want (may not match color on car perfectly)
2)aluminum
3)polihed aluminum

-template included for hood cut
-gaskets and bolts included

i will draw some diagrams soon and post them

i will have one of these on my car (when i get the chance)

if there is sufficient interest in any style suggested or the ones i design then i will start to make them.

i will not be having pics for about a week so in the meantime draw some suggestions of your own.

Justin

ok they will be aluminum. i can paint them if you want, they will be roughly the same size as the stock airbox so that you get as much air into the box as you want. they can have pretty much any shape you can think up, i was hoping or some suggestions, because right now all i can think of are scoops resembling new mustang hoodscoops.

i can make any shape or style you want

i edited my first post

I like the idea of an angled scoop faceing forward. Would it just go right above the airbox? So if you have a cold air box, it would feed directly into it? Draw up some simple sketches, cuz the more I think about it, the more I want one!
