Who here got the ST Sway Bars?
Who here got the ST Sway Bars?
I am thinking of getting the front and rear kit for my 87 TII. It comes with everything you need, including new bushings right? Is it something easy or hard to install?
I have them on my 86 NA, but I didn't install them. It looks like the end links are the stock ones, though.
These bars are incredible! The cars really handles like a slot car now. I also have Tokico's (non-adjustable) and ST springs, along with Cobra 17x8's wrapped with 225/45 front and 235/45 rear. Absolulety superb setup. About the only way I think it could improve would be to use adjustable coilovers and polyurethane suspension bushings.

I got the front bar. Good bar, bad customer service and prepare to wait for it. I ordered it twice from two different vendors and waited several MONTHS with each. Got pissed at the first vendor because I thought it was their fault. Second vendor communicated better and I realized it was ST. If you want something really trick and off the chart on the gee-whiz scale call Speedsource and get their speedway bar.

I have both front and rear. You notice immediate improvement and as stated before "it feels as if it's on rails". I also have the ST springs which REALLY compensates the sway bars. I installed the sway bars myself not too hard only spent about an hour or so. The springs I had them installed.
I also added the upper strapp bar for less body roll. In conclusion the suspension is a really great upgrade.
