I called them today and I wasn't getting a warm and fuzzy feeling talking to the guy there. Are they legit, can they be trusted, how much did you guys pay for the mod?

I had one for 3 years and then sold the car.
I had the ECU upgraded at this shop. The place and the people are real. The power increase in real. You won't need a dyno to show you a small hp gain. It'll be easily felt in the mid range torque and when the VDI opens.

The ECU is a side-job for him, so it occasionally takes a little coaxing to get them to do it. I've known 2 other people on my area that had their ECU's done and they were also "all smiles" with the performance increase.

He shares the shop with his father who owns MD Tracking. Mervin (his father) isn't the most cordial person in the world and is terrible at taking/passing on messages. You have to speak directly with Mario to get anything done.

I paid $400 for mine, but that was on par with other companies at the time.

 

I bought one, but never had the chance to use it.

The guy I sold it to, said it made a definate difference and he was very happy with it.
