Who has a factory non-A/C car?

My GTUs was a factory A/C car but I have removed it entirely. There are two holes previously occupied by refrigerant lines through going the firewall that I need to plug as a result.

I have scoured the microfiche on Mazdamotorsports.com and can't find the factory plugs for those holes. Leads me to believe that there aren't any plugs and that the factory or dealership had to drill the firewall for A/C installation.

Anyone got a non-A/C car that they can snap a picture of for me?

Thanks,

John

Its been a very, very long time since I have toyed with FCs, but I remember I did an A/C removal in mine and used a donor-car that didnt have A/C for my swap parts. Im almost positive that there was plugs for those holes as well as the ducting for when you removed the blower or whatever the heck it was under the dash.

I've never seen one that didn't have A/C from the factory. I've heard they exist but even the parts cars I've seen all were originally equipped with it.

i'm too lazy to look, but in most years there is a page in the 6100 section that just has those 3 plugs. i wanna say its after the heater, but before the ac stuff. maybe try the 86-88 catalog?

ive ordered the plugs before.

My car never had factory A/C. For that matter, it also didn't have power steering, ABS, power anything else, a sunroof or a non-AM radio.

From the factory, the holes are punched and filled with rubber plugs. You can get these plugs at most auto parts stores or from the fastener store.

if you look under 1987 rx-7 and then "BODY DASHBOARD" and "6130 AIR CONDITIONER (W/O AIR CONDITIONER)" it's in there

Later today I can take pics of the 89 GTUs if you think it would help. It was factory no a/c, but does have power steering.

Thanks so much!

I've tried a bunch of different plugs from McMaster and various auto parts stores and none of them really fit right.
