I put Corbeau A4's in my car with Corbeau brackets and took them out shortly after. They suct. they hurt. they were cheap. they put the driver up too high and the passenger even higher.
jeremy
the brackets are the big problem but I wouldn't buy anything less than a Recaro

I just bought new seats to go along with the roll bar thats getting installed. I went with Sparco Turinos. I was accually really impressed with the quality and comfort of the seats and also look like they will fit perfectly. I paid a little over $500 for each seat. I would definately recommend them to anyone.

I am 5' 11". The seats are still not installed as of yet so im not exactly sure where how much higher they will be. I will be making my own bracket just to make sure the seats are mounted as low as possibly. By sitting them in the car without bolting them down they seem like they will be at a very comfortable height.

I have a Corbeau forza racing seat for those occasional track events, but I leave it in most of the time. I've had no problems with the braket or the seat except.........
when I bought it the bolts on the braket were to long so the braket wouldn't fit, but all I did was cut off the end of the bolts and it was fine.

It doesn't sit any higher than the normal seat(maybe like 0.01inches higher) and its actually decently comfortable.

Couldn't you just take the brackets off you stock seats and use them on aftermarket seats?

I have Momo 1000 Lakes seats in my FC. They are very nice, but are designed to be used with a racing harness and roll cage. Also, if you (or your passengers) are not thin like me, the Momo Acropolis are basically the same thing but wider. You can see pics by clicking on my www icon below.

I have the Corbeau Pro Sport Seat. I was able to use the stock bracket on it without any problem. The seat is just low egnough for my helmet and I from touching the ceiling of the car. (I am 5''10)
The seat is very good, but an aftermarket D-shape would be useful. Because the stock wheel is so large that getting out of a bucket seat is difficult with little room for the legs to get out.

Can anyone recommend the Clubman by Corbeau; it only weights 13lb and it's mostly for street use 5miles/day.

Personally I couldn't sit in a seat like that for very long. If thats how you normally sit then I see no problem with it, but thats not how I sit. In most cases, you get what you pay for though.

i have a sparco torino on the drivers side, i was able to rig the stock sliders to work. it seems like it sits about the same as stock, maybe just a tad lower. it is nice for faster driving and short trips, but for long hauls (sevenstock) i think the stock seat is going back in
