I bought this tonight from a local buddy, and I'm trying to find out which brand it all is. There are 2 numbers- on the header 7017 and on the muffler brace 9E803. He was pretty sure it's an Apex'i system, but after searching neither of us are sure. Thanks in advance.

I tried getting decent pictures between my cell and a ancient digital camera.

the headers looks like a pacesetter brand, the test pipe or cat delete however you like to call it looks like a custom made one thats what its look to me ...and the cat-back is what you said a APEX-i cat-back N1.

have fun with your new exhaust

I took a few measurements for everything:
-Header pipes are 2"
-Before and after the resonator is 2.5"
-After the pipe increase thing and before the muffler is 3.25"
-Muffler tip is 4.5"

Thanks for the reply- Someone else told me the header looked like a pacesetter one. And the seller told me the cat-delete pipe was fabbed up. Can I get a few other people's opinions, too?

AND another little thing- will installing a gutted cat in place of the cat-delete pipe muffle the sound much? I intend to eventually install a Borla or some other decent brand muffler in there, but I've gotta save up since I just bought this system.

I hope you're not too attached to your hearing. You definitely need a small muffler where the cat delete pipe goes. I guess a gutted cat is better than nothing, but it won't do much.

That's about the tenth time I've got that hearing comment I definitely will be getting a muffler to put in place of the cat, like I said.

And after everyone looking here and on different threads I'm pretty confident the cat-back is an Apex'i N1 system judging from the angle it sits at and the muffler sizes.

The header's still a mystery. I've looked at a few Pacesetter ones and the O2 sensor screws in down where the 2 pipes connect, while the one I have is on the rear pipe,so I'm still wondering about that.

The header is definitely a Pacesetter. The O2 location and collector are indicative of the pacesetter design. Look up the header and compare the pics; you'll see that's correct.

The cat-back is definitely an APEX'i. The oval resonator, small resonator, and canister are dead giveaways.

Will that combo really be that loud? There are already three sound devices on the cat-back. It might be loud, but I don't think it'll be Corksport-loud.

I have a corksport with a unresonated cat delete. That exhaust system is loud! I get neighbors that complain and when I pick people up they know I'm there In all seriousness, get a resonated cat if it's too loud. I can't hear what the person next to me is talking about and my hears can't hear as well as they used to .

Oh dear this is obnoxious. Tomorrow I'm fixing a leaky flange gasket, installing a gutted cat in place of the delete pipe, and possibly popping the silencer in the muffler. Here's a before video-
