White smoke on 10AE start up

Two things can cause white smoke on start up right?

1) Fuel injector leakage
2) Coolant seal

I found a 10AE last year with 7800 miles (now 9100) on it, bought it, replaced the gas tank, hoses and got it painted. But I noticed white smoke now when I start it up. I didnt remember seeing this when I bought it. I held a paper towel to the exhaust and it doesnt seem to collect anything.

I think you have the 2nd Lowest mileage 10th AE on this board maybe in the US. Post some pics of it, and odometer mileage. Nice find, good luck.

You know to me it looks like alot of smoke and seems to dissapate. Smell seems normal and like my convertible ehaust. My convertible I never noticed much smoke at all, however, it kinda reminded me of start up after a mild flood.

Theres pictures in the 10AE thread, but I can post some later.........

If it doesn't smell like anything but combustion, it is probably just condensation.

Well I have haven't flooded it yet since I had it. I thought or was hoping it was just leaking past the injectors. I was concerned since it sat for years that the coolant seals were shot from not exercising them.

If its condensation that would be great..........

Could it be turbo seals?
