Whistling EGR
Whistling EGR
Yes you read that right, my EGR WHISTLES SO DAMN LOUD when I put a my work gloves on I can put my finger in the one whole and it stops..... it only happens when the vacum is Negative pressure so its sucking air in....
Now aside from riding around with some piece of something shoved in there, which Im sure there is a reason why there is a hole in the first place..... has anyone ever had this, seen this, know how to fix it ... or is it new EGR time?

technically the EGR should not be seeing much, if any, vacuum at all at idle. the diaphragms on the EGR do have a tendency to crack and leak over time so that is likely your case.
Its def on the valve itself and basically only in that one hole if I block the others it doesnt matter.... how hard is it to replace that thing its positioning is next to impossible to unbolt the damn thing.....
Any suggestions?

You can block it off without consequence. Probably won't even effect the ability to pass emissions. Just be sure to use a nice thick blockoff plate so you don't create more leaks.
