wheres the oil coming from??

wheres the oil coming from??

ok so today i was changin the oil when i seen some oil on my pan!!damnit!! i guess thats expected for and old motor, but still where could it be comin from?? i know it might be my oil pan gasket but where else could it be coming from?!?!

or the rear oil line connection, drivers side to the rear of the motor, if you're LHD. Also some of the sensors in the pan coule be leaking, the cold start oil sensor and the level sensor, or sometimes drain plugs don't get tight enough.

Sometimes the oil cooler will have a slight leak. Will spray oil all over bottom of oil pan when ridin down the road. Thats what happened to my fc.

is this a big concern? iknow itll just eat more oil but is this a major prob. or can it wait.

makes fro a messy engine bay, its probably best to get it fixed anyways.

Small leaks can eventually lead to big ones. I would clean everything off real good at all the places everyone mentioned. Then keep checking every day or so to see where the oil starts appearing first.
