I got mine less 100mi away, I probably paid too much, but I am very happy with it. It came in good shape, I bought it from a non-racer.

 

A friends mechanic had a RX7 owner frequent his shop. One day the compression went and the guy parked in a field to rot while he went and purchased another. My friend ran into him at the shop seeing the new car and asked him what happened to the old one. Said I (via my friend) was welcome to have it. Had it towed to my place for $50 and it was mine. 88 base that is now a full-blown TII racecar.
