Where is the speed sensor wire in the ECU Located?? PICS Inside..
I just bought the Defi link-display and i need to attach the speed signal wire to the ECU. but im having problems which wire it is to splice on... i have a mazda factor book and gives me the layout of the ECU. i see "IM" as the "Milage sensor" could this be the wire im looking for. please help?

Page 85, it looks like you just have to tap into the P/S connector for it. On a similar note, what type of output is this? (voltage, pulse, etc.)

Go to the Cruise Control Units plug and look for the green/red wire.
Or go to the Pwr Steering Control Units plug and look for the green/red wire there.
Or if you had an automatic transmission, go to the ECAT Control Unit and look for the green/red wire at the ECAT.
What are you looking for to use that wire for?

if you have cruise control i beleive you can get the signal from the cc ecu. its a green and white wire from what i remember.. thats the wire i used for my turbo timer a while back

Gosh no. That is the cruise control SWITCH. You want to go to the Cruis Control Unit located near your left foot. A few inches aft of the interior fuse box.
What kind of book are you looking at? It seems a good book but your not looking in the right places. Is that the Wiring Diagrams??????? book????
I looked at the seies five wiring diagrams online yesterday and it was a green/red wire leaving the instrument cluster and still green/red at the cruise control unit and pwr steering control unit.
