I used to look to scalliwag but since there has been a lot of threads in the feedback section discrediting his reputation I don't want to take the risk.

i don't have an answer to your question, but if you end up not being able to find any that you like, i was able to install a pinion snubber without too much trouble, so that might be an option. i don't know anything about your specific application, but i just thought i'd say something. good luck.

 

After a friend of mine, with a TII, broke 2 of them, he borrowed one of my good ones and took it to a welder and had him duplicate it in an all steel configuration. Cost him $40 and looks to be very good in matching the oem configuration .

 

I don't know of any quality machine shops around that do work to the level that i'd like it. Which is why I wanted to see if anyone out there has them other thank scalli

 

Well, I've been waiting over 2 months for my engine mounts from scalliwag, I will never do business with him again.

As far as making the mount, it is really not that hard. I can do it in the garage with a jig saw and wirefeed. Another option is to go the local steel supplier and see if they have aluminum bar stock. They can cut out a block in the dimensions you need, then just drill through holes and bolt it together.

 

Hmm thats not that bad of an idea there. I'll have to source some bar stock locally and start checking prices.
