Where is the Oil leak????

Well,

I'm thining the the O-ring under the Oil Pedastle(SP?)
might be the culprit.

The entire drivers side under carrage and side of engine are covered in oil or now gunky oil. The oil has travellled down the frame rail it's so bad.

Is there anything else you could think of??

The engine to firewall coolant hose has some bad signs on it already. It's getting soft to the touch.

This is why I'm thinking there's a leak somewhere near the oil filter since it's right above this hose.

I think it is ruining some of my bushings as well so if there is anything else you could think of that would be a great help.

My fuel lines have the plastic cover loom on them and they look pretty good. I'm thinking of replacing the Engine-Firewall hose before it suprises me like last time and covering it in this.

I think is your oil pedistal too! I had a leak around there and i thought it was my oil cooler line. But it wasn't it it turn out to be the oil filter pedistal. And damn! you leak alot of oil i thought i had it bad. If i were you i would save a little money and replace all the rubber hose at the same time. Like all the coolent hose and fuel hose. FOr a old car that could be good. ANd again i am almost sure is the oil filter pedistal because when i replace my oil cooler line it took two people to get the banjo bolt off so is pretty tight. I hope this helps and good luck on fixing the oil leak.

Thx.

I'm off to look at the FSM to see how to fix it.
