Talking where to mount all these #$#@$# gauges :)

I need some pics or ideas how/where to mount my final guages...i dont want to hack up the glovebox or move controls either. I've already got my dual guage pod with air/fuel/ boost guage..

I have a super afc / soon to be getting super avc-r / and I just got my oil pressure gauge.

Wheres the best setup for the afc/avcr. And what about the oilpressure gauge? Is there any other places that sell pods or whatnot.

I've replaced the factory double-DIN head unit with a single-DIN one leaving heaps of room for 2 or 3 gauges underneath when I have some spare cash, probably oil pressure, oil temp and maybe EGT, to go with my dash mounted boost gauge. All will be VDO 50mm.

Talking yeah

thats a good idea. Iv already got a single head unit, however I can put some gauges there..... however, I would then need ideas for where to put the super afc and super avc-r..

I was thinking maybe just put them both (with the brackets) by the clock. on top.

Ok, I had to do some research back when I was trying to find a place for my gauges. I gathered a collection of all that I could find, you can look at them here:
http://turbo2mazda.com/pics/gauges/

Here are some pics of my under-din gauges: (they are like 800kb each)

Also, here is a slightly blurry shot of my A-pillar gauges (900kb)

Hope this helps...

Talking cool

you have the same setup as me for the a piller, I have the boost/airfuel gauge. I figured those are the most important, thats why there on the a piller. I think Im going to put Oil Pressure / Water Temp / Below my cd player like you have it.

I know just need to find a good home for the afc/avcr components.

right now I have 3 on my pillar and a flat A/F gauge in my dash area. I've got a water and oil temp on order and I'm going to put them in the center heater vent. I've got a spare vent here that I'm going to play around with and cut up once they come.

Did you cut up a bathroom mat and put it on the dash?

Also, those idiot lights are there for a reason, some of them are useful
