Where The Hell Can I Get A New Fuel Filter With The Brackets On It?

well i orderd a brand new fuel filter from mazda(40 ******* bux) and it had no bracket, the only reason i went to mazda was to get the brackets.. so if anyone knows where or has a new fuel filter with the brackets tell me cuz i need one and i need it soon

Yeah dude. What happened to the one on the car already? Also you could probably just bend a piece of metal and make your own.

i have one one on my car, i think its weled to the fuel filer??(mabee not???) i just want a all new one with the brackts.. i emailed mazda trix makiing sure

You can order the brackets and mounts from Mazda. Of course, they are a different part, so you will need to have the parts guy/girl look up the number.

I just screwed a hose clamp to the car and it worked great. My brackets broke when i was removing the fuel filter. Also relocated the thing to make it easier to get to.

If you look at the stock bracket, it is isolated from the frame of the car with rubber bushings. This is to reduce stress on the fllter, and prevent it from rubbing. Clamping the filter to the body will allow it to rub, thus eventually wearing a hole at either the clamping point or where the filter body touches the frame.
