Question where to get carbide porting bits/stones?

i know your supposed to use carbide for porting the side plates. i've seen some grinding stones at sears, but they're not carbide, i think they're aluminum oxide, and i'm not sure if they'll work. can you use the kind dremel makes? i need to know where i can find grinding stones and bits suitable for porting a rotary.
