where to find 2nd gear synchro ring?

Hi just brought home a 89 t2 and noticed there was a grinding when i switched to 2nd gear. the higher the rpm was the more it grinded, didnt notice it when i took a test drive 2-3 weeks ago. the noise should come from the worn out synchro ring right?
checked in atkins and they only have fd 5th gear ring, nothing on racingbeat or pineapple racing.
on ebay there was only full gearbox rebuild kit.
any other places to look for it?

I don't either as I've had mine rebuilt by KD Rotary, but as 17-250 is second gear, looks like 17-265A would be the number. (888) 802-0074

17-265(17265A in the list) IS the second gear syncro.

just go to your local dealership and they can order you one. there is no aftermarket syncros for the turbo transmissions.

you will also likely need an input shaft seal, 5th gear syncro, input shaft bearing, rear main bearing and output shaft seal.

I think it will cost too much in the mazda dealer here. Atleast 50% more i guess. Atkins rotary also put it on their site after i asked them if they have it. But none of the other stuff i will probably need, guess i have to let it taken apart and then see what i really need.
