I used to have a 1988 RX-7. I have 1988 factory manuals I purchased 20+ years ago from Mazda.

I now have a 1987 RX-7, and want a 1987 specific factory service manual and factory wiring manual. I have looked at the FAQ (most links are okay, but some are dead). Perhaps I am not looking at the correct links, but I have been unable to find 1987 specific manuals.

Anyone know where I can find the 1987 manuals?

Try www.rotaryheads.com. they have a very good list of service manuals. Worst case you can buy an 87 FSM off of Ebay.

I know the 87 and 88 are mostly the same, but 20 years ago when I built this car Mazda sent me some wiring diagram faxes, because the 87 and 88 manuals were different. The faxes are fading. 20 years ago I was planning to get 87 manuals, but never got around to it until now. Oh well. Thanks.
Off to look for manuals.........
