are you talking about the vac hose going straight down from the fpr? if thats the case then you can plug it into any vac source as long as it's getting a proper vac signal. I have removed emissions and mine goes directly into the nipple pointing toward the firewall in the middle of the lower intake manifold.

in the first pic, are you talking about the one with the bolt in it? it looks like the coolant hose that connects to the outside of the BAC valve. it supplies water to the thermowax and might possibly affect you ridle.

dunno, hope that helps

yeah its the one with the bolt in it. but i believe that my bac already has all of the hoses it needs on to it. i think that this hose comes from the lower intake manifold. does it matter at all that this is a j-spec motor with us spec upper intake manifold and throttle body? somebody please help! i cant even find a FSM online anymore

ohh...i knwo what that is...its attached to the bac right?..it was suppose to be connect to the acv...but since u have emission removed..the acv also connects to the stock TMIC..so if u have that u'll need to plug it up as well....if u leave that open u'll have a vac leak..so plug it up..its fine...i shortened that tube so the bolt is right next to the bac

Do you have the stock TMIC? Is there 2 places(nipples) to hook up vac lines in the right rear of it? Or 1? If one, someone has put the 89-91 TMIC(only has one nipple) on it and left this open? Your IC should have 2 lines going to the right rear. One is for the BAC and one for the Idle to the Throttlebody. If you only have one, and it's going to the BAC, block off the BAC and put this loose hose on the nipple on the IC were the BAC was going. This hose is probably smaller than the BAC hose so a reducer fitting might be in order. stephen.
