This ground wire is coming off from the transmission.

Can someone give me a idea where the location of this ground might go?

Somewhere on the firewall maybe? It is only a foot long.

its got a 2-pin white connector on the other side right?

ive got the same question, found it last night when taking my ish apart. i dont think it was plugged into anything before..

 

Looks like the ground from the back of the engine to the firewall. Is there a single white connector? There should be a male connector to the right of the VIN stamp that it mates to. Then just find a threaded 10mm bolt hole on the engine.

 

Bolts into the top of transmission and female end connects to a copper male bolted to the firewall right under your vin stamp.
See where the white female is right next to the wiper motor.

There you go.
