i have no clue where they go. i have a 88 t2 btw. they are both threaded sensors and haynes isnt helping me out with location of these. also there is a threaded hole on my lower front cover right by the hole where the oil cooler line hooks in. prob one of them goes there but i want to double check with the rotor heads first..

if not mistaken, the big one is yout knock sensor. It goes below the oil filler neck on the block. look down below you turbo oil feed outlet on the block for where it goes. Best I can describe.

Found a pic to help ya. The wire you have to look in the manual.

The smaller one looks like you coolent drain plug. Look at the drivers side motor mounts. There is a threaded spot for that if that is what it is. Kinda hard to tell from the pic.

the knock sensor( the one with the wire ) either goes on the front housings as pictured or on the middle housing under the oil filler cap, depending on your car.

the other is just your coolant drain plug as stated, it goes at the bottum of the driverside middle housing, right were the engine mount goes, 3 bolts go to the mount the other hole is for that plug.
