where can I get a window switch?

seriously i went to mazda and its 200$ for a damn 2 button switch .... if its 200 ill splice push buttons onto it instead lol

If you're adding them to a car that doesn't have them, the 88-92 Thunderbird and Cougar switches look stock, and you can find them in almost every junkyard for $5 WITH the connector and wires. Just remember to take your wirecutters, because it will take about 30 minutes trying to worry those wires apart with a pair of pliers, ask me how I know. :P

lol thanks ... in boston all the junk yard around here have nothing along the lines of the rx-7...well most semi good cars in general..

the T-bird or courgar ... think I could finagle it into the switch spot and have it look semi good without too much work? I'm gettin lazy btw this car and the monte lol

Actually, since I traded up from manual windows, I'm not even 100% sure where the switch goes in a power car - I've got some stuff going on tonight, but if I get a chance I'll get the micrometer and take some measurements and pictures for you sometime tomorrow.

Nope have not been selling window switches for a couple years now.

Too many people were buying them and not fixing things like gummed up window tracks or poor motor contacts and burning out the rebuilt switches.

4.2 cm wide, by 3.6 cm tall - my plan is cut off the long unused part of the switch below it and drilling a hole for the screw to go through.
