Where can I get high imp. 720cc injectors?

Ok, need to know where I can get a set of high impedence injectors for an 88 tII. Looking for 720cc, maybe 850cc.

Why do you want to stay with high impedence? If you do a search on high impedence vs low impedence you'll find the low impedence ones react more quickly and efficiently.

plus you can just wire in resistors (witch is easy) and you can use the low impedance injectors in your car just fine.

^is it a special resistor I have to use or can I pick one up from say radio shack?
Do you have a link to a short write up on this by chance?
Thanks for the info so far guys.

Radioshack 10ohm/10watt resistors work just fine. They come in a pack of 2 for under $2 IIRC. They look like little white rectangular ceramic bricks with wires sticking out of both ends.

^sounds like a plan
This is good news...seems to be alot easier to find low impedance injectors.

Are the fitments from year to year different?

Well the greddy/denso and bosch 720s are a square plug. I have an s5 so I had the oval plugs and had to switch injector connectors. BTW I soldered in my resistors at the ECU to keep them away from heat and vibration. It was super easy.

yea soldering in the resistor won't be a problem for me. I'm pretty sure the 88's (i have to go look again) have square plugs. Assuming they are...are they the same size plug that's on the greddy/denso/bosch injectors?

-edit-

Another Question. the 88 seems to be the only year that has square "offset" injectors. What effect is that going to have on what I need to buy?

well if your getting 720's just go with whatever you find on this forum or rx7.com or rx7store.com they are all square plugings. also your going to want to wire the injectors in at the ecu because the resisters can't handle the heat in the engine bay. The wires are going to be the 4 green ones on the plug all the way to the left side of the ecu. You will see them (2 on top and 2 on bottom)

^ok, what is the "offset" that is being referred to on 88 injectors? Every other year it says "center"

As far as the wiring goes, I'm just adding 720s for the secondaries. Which wires are for those?

You have to look up the wiring diagram for your car.

on an 88 tII your looking at the square plug that is top fead. Also as far as witch wires are for the secondaries its:

Front secondary: pin 3H, light green wire with a white stripe
Rear secondary: pin 3F, light green wire with a red stripe

here is the diagram

edit: I take no credit for this great diagram thank nzconvertable, I swear he has a clear diagram for just about everyting
