Where can I find the window trim piece?
Somebody help me find the piece of trim that goes around the windshield, please. Mazdatrix used to have it listed on their site, but I can't find it now. See the attached pic to see what I'm talking about. I'd like the 2 side pieces and the one that goes around the top.

Dealers are always the FINAL alternative. I avoid them like the plague. Probably be $487.95 from them or some crazy **** ... and I'd get attitude asking about it undoubtedly.

Dealer: "Duh, RX-7 you say. Um, yeah okay. I think we're gonna have to fly in one of our master technicians to help you. We're not sure if he can, but we're gonna need $674.29 airfare upfront. Do you wanna go ahead and do that then?"

Try the dealer. Although, if you go to Bommarito, be prepared to spend about 45 minutes there waiting for the parts guy to find the piece. I take it they're rubber?

I priced them up at my local Mazda dealer about a year ago, they were $97 each!!!. You would think these things were made out of titanium instead of rubber, the way they price these things.

Ryan......I took mine off of my vert, sanded them with some heavy grit paper to get all of that bubbled and cracked rubber off of them, wet-sanded them, primed and painted them, and they look great. I can't believe what a difference it made......especially on a black car that old greyed **** stuck out like a sore thumb.
I don't know how well it will hold up long term, but it only took me like an hour to do it.
I couldn't find the replacements either and was not willing to spend the $200 for the parts from Mazda.
Just a thought.....you might want to try it.
