i think you just got trolled by santiago.
and i'd say that counts as putting less weight over the front wheels, therefore = anti-rice. Plus, CF is way too expensive for ricers. Except for my friend aaron and his 12 second crx.

hahahaha you morons think that putting extra stuff on your dash is lighter? Dash kits are normally glue on peices of CF. Take out your spare at the track and you save ten times as much weight as you do from spending 2-3 hundred dollars on a full cf dash.

people need to be realistic and not pass off CF dash "kits" as a performance mod. ******* gay *** mod if you ask me. They just want bling to help them get dumb blonds that like FnF crap that ricers use. If you want weight redux do some actual weight reduction not spend 300 bucks to add a 2 pound guage pod for your volt meter and bling-o-meter

Nobody asked you.

eBay is your best bet. I looked online and couldn't find any kits, only for the FD's.

I started making my own and then i left the country for a month and the mold got destroyed to my dismay. I shoul;d be finished with the second mold shortly. And the reason for the dash kit is to add gauges and to changed the shape of the dash without having to reupholster it and make it out of something heavier

Yeah I know the purpose of yours man I just hate peopel just glueing cf to everything so that they are special and cool. A whole dash made of a composite is a different story.

This is your first post, three posts from the top.

The person you responded to obviously (Obviously!) didn't know the poster was looking for dash appliques.

Like I said (three times now), no one asked for your opinion, the user was simply posting to find the dash appliques and you had nothing useful to add.

I mounted gauges in the center console if my racecar and a short time later the plastic cracked and fell apart.

I was going to try to fabricate something out of sheet metal when SpeedMachine announced a discount.

It was a perfect solution to my problem however I probably would have fabricated something out of sheet metal at the present price.

There's no rice in my racecar.

hahaha

no I have a set philosophy behind it. Its kinda hard to explain. But buying composit crap to stick onto your dash is stupid. Buying a new composit dash for a purpose built race car make sense. It doesn't make sense for your street car because you could spend the hundreds of dollars on something that is more effective. If you like the looks then find admit THAT. Don't say "hey guys i'm a cool guy because I can afford CF dash stickers and make my car lighter by 6-15 pounds" I would enjoy the benefits of composits all day long but using CF as a status symbol is just a stupid fad.

haha but one thing you have to understand santiago is that " to like something" is based on preference and what that individual finds interesting and attractive, therefore, liking something WILL be different for everyone. We ALL know you HATE rice...believe me we have seen your many posts about it lol.

its just like the saying, " beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and sir, you have pink eye!

:-p
