What are the best places to buy used engines from? JDM engines would be nice too.

Also, would it be cheaper to rebuild an engine or just buy a used engine that's still good? I just recently bought another RX-7 shell and want an engine for it.

 

In the long run a rebuild will be cheaper (in most cases) since most used, usually JDM, engines only last approx. 25,000 miles.

As for where, just look around your area - there are engine importers everywhere - or ask someone in the club local to you to point you in the right direction.

So with a new rotor housing and a large streetport, how much would that cost me on a rebuild?

 

I have an S4 Jspec for sale. It has 95psi on all faces

 

so rrtec do you you have an extra one laying around then? i would like to buy one for cheap and just build it

 

Check with RX7club member Japan2LA. He sells great J-spec engines. If you send a pm it usually takes a couple days for him to get back in touch though. tell him socalfct2 sent you.
