Alright, so as usual, I needed to replace my Demister grilles, and so I purchased the 2 grills, but in removing my current broken ones, I found that the retaining piece that the grill snaps into was also broken in like 3 places. I tried super gluing this back together but as soon as I tried to reinsert it into the dash, it broke in 2 or 3 other places

So, is there anywhere I can order these retaining pieces from new? Without it, the grill just sits in the hole...but nothing is actually holding it in. I checked Mazdatrix but only see the grilles, but not the retainer...or am I missing it?

They come with the replacement side grills when you get them. It is all one peice. If you got broken ones or ones missing the retaining section, they are useless and should be thrown away.

sweet...then mine are useless (well the driver side is)
I got the ones I have off the forum for cheap...but yea, it was just the grill, not the retaining piece. The passenger side was broken enough that the grill just came out, but the retaining piece was still in tact. I pushed the new one in and it snapped in place. The driver one just crumbled. So, according to you if I order one from MazdaTrix it should have the retainer and all...good to hear. The picture on their site just looks like the grill piece only.
