Where to buy J-spec engine?

I blew a coolant seal in my 58,000 mile TII, long story started with cracked coolant hose under the manifold and stupidity. Anyway, what is a good place to get one from, I want a good engine and a chance of getting some aftermarket stuff wouldn't hurt. I do want a good deal but would rather pay more for a engine I know will last long then get a steal on a rough engine. Seems the ballpark range is around 1K. I'm going to save my engine and get it all built up later, just need something to get me by. Also, anything I should do to mine before I store it and is there anything different about installing a JDM as opposed to the US version (smog stuff already removed, just not sure about being right hand drive effecting anything.) Oh, also, I want a long block with the turbo so I can send my turbo to BNR supercars sometime to get upgraded, any opinion on them and reccomendations for which stage of upgrade?

Did your engine blow by means of coolant seals or an apex seal? IF it just overheated a bit and lost coolant seals it is probably 100% rebuildable. IF you pull it out and ship it to me I can have it rebuilt within a week's time, and have it back on its way to you. I can rebuild a stock t2 engien from $1200 plus shipping of your choice.

I just did one for a guy in NJ, he got it streetported for an additional $200.

You can PM guru here on the forum or call him @ 416-896-5448.
He sells j-spec engines, but not sure for how much. They are checked for compression before shipped and come with a warranty I do believe. Give him a shout.

Forgot to mention, Dave sells / rebuilds engines as well if you want to go that route. (although shipping is a pain for you I guess)

Thanks for the replies, last I checked FC3S was out of stock. It was the coolant seals, compression is still good. I'm just going to go with a J-Spec for now and then do a full build up on my stock one at a later date. On a side note, do you sell pipeing for the NPR intercooler?

Corksport also sells used Jspecs along with nippon motors (I wouldn't recommend nippon though, bad experience with em).

Do you have a series IV? Has anyone heard of Parsa Engine, they have a web site and can get me one shipped to a business for 675 but they only check the seals not the compression and warranty it to start.
