The stock ECU fuel cuts approximately 1psi over stock boost.
On Kouki FC's, many owners have reported no overboost fuel-cut condition.
The stock boost sensor only reads up to about 15psi, so assume the ECU has no idea you're going past 15psi, that's a good estimate.

There are more factors to consider before worrying about the ECU, like intake temps, how much fuel, wastegate control, boost control and so on.
I would reccomend getting your boost under control before replacing the ECU because there are other systems that affect boost other than the ECU.
