When should I upgrade the fuel system?
The car is an 86 GX.
I'm getting the RB DP and MP sometime this winter, and I was curious if I would have to do anything to the fuel system. It will have a stock cat-back for a while, the previous owner just bought it new OEM a week b4 selling it to me. The intake will be some kind of K&N outside the engine bay.
When will I have to go to bigger injectors, higher volume fuel pump, etc?

Jimmyv13,
With the NA rx7s you should be able to get 220rwHP with porting, tuning, and performance intake/exhaust.
Until you get over 180rwHP I wouldn't worry about fuel system upgrades.

N/A @ 220rwhp? Good luck... (that's A LOT of tuning, porting, and intake / exhaust work)
Anyway, he really shouldn't have to worry about fuel yet. Just make sure your car is in good condition with good plugs, wires, etc... and on a N/A you will be fine. You really can go headers, full exhaust, intake, etc... without fuel upgrades. When you do porting then you probably should consider upgrading the fuel. Best thing to do if you are concerned is to put it on a dyno with a wide band O2 and make certain. (But it really shouldn't be needed)

Thanks, fellas. A SP is in the future, the original motor has 158K. Prolly next winter.
I was looking into exhaust upgrades and I was told that a header and presilencer wasn't that much better than the DP, MP combo. Is this true?
