Wheels!

I am looking to get a set of 18" wheels for my car and of coursde they are expensive as hell. I want to review my options before I splurge $1500-2000 on a set. Where are some good websites that have good pricing. I like this one but what about others?

Discounttiredirect is good cause they do free shipping, and from what I have noticed their prices are pretty good as well. And their package prices are definatly of good value IMO.

I am not sure of how wide I can go. Any suggestions without rubbing? I would like light weight rims like maybe OZ or Volks. What do you think?

I would say to just go with 17's... they are the best of both worlds when it comes to looks and performance. 18's can look a little too big for FC's IMO, but its your car and do what makes you happy. You can fit an 8'' up front and 9'' in the back without any trouble as long as you get the proper offset. That's just my 2 cents.

Well, everyone has their opinions, but you need to do what you want. I have 18's on my car, I like the look, I figure make my car look and handle how I want, and then I will add the power once I get a good base.

My wheels are 18x7" Enkei RS5's...$150 per wheel. I bought them from discount tires with Yokohama Parada-Spec. 2's, 215/40's. the 215/35 would actually keep the same overall diameter, but 215/40 is a really low profile, and there is less of a chance to ding a rim. All together, the whole setup cost about $1300 including everything mounted, balanced, and mounting hardware.

I figured I better add this little bit before Jimmy bitches at me again but you need to expect a little loss in acceleration adding a bigger wheel. You may loose anywhere from a half second or more on your 1/4 mile time. Just means you gotta do the tii swap later on :P
