Wheel Compatibility?

Hey guys. I know the bolt pattern for the FC wheels are 114.5. I'm just curious as to what other car's wheels share the same bolt pattern as ours. Thanks if you can help me.

Rick

Many RWD American cars have the same bolt pattern as well, but most don't have the FC's appropriate offset.

Mustang Wheels:
Size: 17x8
Offset: 30
-Will clear 225’s in the front without modification
-Will clear 245’s in the front with rolled fenders

Nissan N/A 300Z wheels:
Size: 16x7.5
Offset: 45
Weight: 16lbs
-Will clear 205’s in the front without modification
-Will clear 215’s or 225’s if you ground down the spring perch or run 5 or 10mm spacers.

Nissan Turbo 300Z wheels:
Size: 16x7.5 (front), 16x8.5 (rear)
Offset: 45 (front), 35 (rear)
Weight: 16lbs (front), 18lbs (rear)

As has been mentioned, it's important to also look at the offset aka backspacing. A lower offset number means the wheel sticks further out in the wheel well, whereas a higher offset number means that it sticks out more.

The other factor to consider is the tire itself. For instance on my 2000 16x7.5" Mustang rims with 30mm offset with Fuzion ZRi tires 225/50/16 there is very little room between the tire and the strut. Previously I had Yokohama ES100s 225/45/16s and there was quiet a bit of room. There was so much that I was toying with the idea of trying to squeeze 245s up front. It's hard to make that decision because the dimensions listed by the manufacturer (on tire rack's spec sheet) don't necessarly reflect those differences.

It depends on how wide you go. I fit a 45mm offset (300Z wheels above) but I could not go any wider than a 205mm wide tire up front.

With 40mm offset you could probably run a 215mm wide tire (depending on the tire brand/model)

The tire width is typically wider than the wheel width hence the tire size is usually the limiting factor. 205 and 215mm is about 8" and 8.5" respectively but you could mount them on a 6” to 8” wheel.

Those are the Mustang V6 3-spoke wheels. Ugly, but if you care about looks while racing then your going to be spending LOTS of money. We picked those up for $25....for the entire set. They weigh just about 16lbs, and 225/50/15's fit PERFECT on those... and that is the most popular race tire size. Used tires are available all over the place with those.

300ZX turbo wheels are nice though!
