I have heard many good things about the HI-6 how it improves gas mileage and makes the car feel more responsive or something, but hell for $200 or less it will help out in gas savings! So if I buy the Haltech would the HI-6 be useless (like does the haltech take the place of the crane cams igniton)? Thanks guys!
Stop jacking threads!

Many will argue that this is unnecessary.
The Haltech can control ignition timing dwell, and this contributes to the hotter spark.  There are users who claim up to 400+hp on the stock coils without any ignition break-up.  We do run CDI boxes on Haltech installs "just in case", and have had good results without any problems.  So to answer your question, yes you can run them together.

I drive 105 miles a day. I'd say 90% of that is highway. I typically get 20-22 MPG. I typically stay between 3-4k in 5th during highway runs but of course there are those times when you drop it down a gear and "go" ...

The worst blown engine that I have ever seen was destroyed by a guy who thought he was being "nice" to the engine by staying out of the secondaries. It was so bad that one apex seal jammed into the groove of another, and a part of an apex seal was impailed in the rotor. Both rotors and the housings were toast, btw.
yes i know this, what i'm talking about is instead of driving 70mph in 4th (for torque purposes), shifting into 5th to get under the 3500rpm threshhold. i'm not saying that i rarely get them on.

The best I've manages was 26MPG running at a steady 65-70MPH on the way home from getting FC-Chan's S5. The worst for that trip was 21MPG at about 100MPH on I5.
My worst ever was about 11MPG on my old motor, right before I replaced it. It still had pretty good power up to 4K and started easily most of the time.
The worst I've managed on my current motor is 13MPG, but there was an autocross event in the middle of the tank...
