Whats your favorite spring
I'm in a predicament to where I have to put struts and springs on my 91. I've looked at several, but would like to know the public opinion. I drive this car to work and play. It's N/A and I haven't made up my mind if I want force induct it or not. It's a nice car that looks good and is in good shape. I don't want anything to ride like a brick or like a pillow. I still need the car to be solid. A drop spring no more than 1.5 would be alright.

I just put the Eibach Pro Kit springs and Tokico HP's on my car. They ride a little stiffer than stock but not too bad. They drop the car 0.8 inches all the way around.

If you find the right combination of the two that works well for a daily driver you should let me know because i have been looking at shocks and springs lately too but do not know what setup would work the best.

Eibach pro kit + Tokico HP (Blue). It will ride better than stock and handle better too. This is my setup for over a year. My drop was only about 5/8 inch. Looks lowered, but not slammed, drives like a dream.
More money= Tokico Illuminas or KYB AGX instead of theTokico Blues. Now it will ride better than stock, but you can firm up the shock damping when you want. Couple of people on the board use this combo for auto-X as well as daily driving.

If you want to keep a civil ride, the above mentioned is fine. Then, you can tune with swaybars to get it to handle awsome. You'd be surprised how great a car can handle with "cheap" shocks (Illumina's), off the shelf springs and decent sway bars.
